Wilkinson: Raising Money for Air Ambulance

Local Wilkinson store at Swansgate Shopping Centre, has raised over £7,000 for local charity Air Ambulance Northamptonshire & Warwickshire from May 2012 to April 2013.

 

The huge amount raised by staff in the store has been donated by generous shoppers as well as sponsorships and funds from raffles, tombolas, sponsored runs, boot sales, in store bike rides and Halloween fun.

 

By raising such large amounts, with the total currently at £7,720, the store is now the 17th largest fundraiser across the Wilkinson business, out of a total 370 high street stores.

 

Graeme Bickle, Store Manager at the Swansgate Wilkinson store added “We are thrilled to have raised such a large amount for a great local charity, which is also supported by many of our shoppers. We will be continuing to support the local Air Ambulance charity for the next 12 months, with more fundraising events being held in store.
